One dream makes one Korea.
The 24 teams of K-pop musicians, musical stars, announcers and politicians regardless of liberals and conservatives gathered in one place to participate in this song campaign which wishes for unified Korea.
The music album and video have been produced with talent donations from top artists in Korea. Overseas Koreans from three countries (Washington in the U.S., Tokyo Japan, and Harbin China) also participated in the chorus and the music video that has been watched from 200 countries. This campaign has become the largest single civil unification campaign with public participation utilizing ‘Hallyu (the Korean Wave)’.
The second ONE K Song project, designed to create the second 'We are the World' for the unification of the Korean peninsula in 2016, appointed the legendary producer duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as executive producers and launched the global campaign at the U.N. headquarters in the United States, where more than 1,000 youth leaders gathered from around the world.
In addition, the song, "Korean Dream", made its debut in March 2017 with the participation of the world pop singer Peabo Bryson, well known for Disney’s OST 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'A Whole New World (Aladdin)', Korean-Australian singer Dami Im, the winner of the X Factor Australia 2013 and the second prize of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Philippine singers (Edray, Sabrina, Zendee), Jung Dong Ha and Voisper. On the occasion of Korea’s National Liberation Day on August 15, the sound source and music video of the song were released via the collaboration with the Metropolis Studio of the U.K. and the global marketing has been on going.
